The youth have a critical role to play in the well being of the society and nation. From time immemorial, it is the youth who have come forward as saviours, as emancipators, as dreamers in impossible missions. It is thereby important to inspire the younger generation to take to the path of righteousness and plunge into action for the welfare of one and all. The life of Sri Sathya Baba and His monumental humanitarian works are undoubtedly a robust and perennial source of inspiration to inspire every heart. With a view to motivate the youth, who are the future of our nation, to step in for the welfare of society and tending to the needs of the downtrodden, a Youth Parthi Yatra was organised from 26th to 28th August, 2014 wherein around 400 youth (both ladies and gents) from West Bengal participated. As a part of this three day event, the youth were engaged in several service activities within the ashram besides witnessing the benevolent institutions built by Baba such as the Sri Sathya Sai University, Super Speciality Hospital, Water Project. The youth also visited other places of interest including the Chaitanya Jyoti Museum which  is   a repository   of   the   saga   of Sri Sathya Sai.  The youth also presented a musical offering based on classical music comprising of devotional songs. A youth conference was also organised  as part of the event.
